Covid Cases Today Ontario. Health minister christine elliott says there are 592 new cases in peel region, 396 cases in toronto, and 187 cases in york region. A total of 3,712 people have died.
The province has reported the deaths of two people between 60 and 79 years old and 12 people over the age of 80. The highest number of cases reported in a single day during the first wave was 749 cases on april 17. Until today, the province has not.
There are 1,686 more resolved cases and over 44,200 tests completed.
Today's update also reports nine deaths and 798 recoveries. The most new cases are in toronto (566), followed by peel region (516) and york region (145). The previous daily case record was set a little over a week ago with 1,042 cases reported on oct. A total of 3,712 people have died.
