Amazon claims in their description for the vinyl album This classic Beatles compilation spanning the years 1967-1970 is now available on 180 gram vinyl. The Beatles 1967 1970 Blue Vinyl Special Limited Edition Double Lp Import. This marks I believe the first entry in the ACotW series featuring a compilation as well as the first entry from the Fab Four.
The sequencing of the album now retitled The Beatles at the suggestion of cover artist Richard Hamilton.
Published on August 8 2020. Three years after the break-up all four former Beatles were enjoying enormous solo success. Originally intended to adorn the unreleased Get Back LP which was repackaged as Let It Be in 1970 the shot featured the group recreating their pose on the cover of their debut UK album Please Please Me. Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds.
