For symptomatic healthcare workers, group home and shelter workers, school teachers and/or school staff. Effective october 20, 2020, the chief medical officer of health announced that effective immediately, there will be a pause on all asymptomatic testing conducted by ahs and community pharmacies until further notice. Results are available earlier than the provincial public program and are available within 48 hours. The pharmacy test will be a throat swab that will then be sent for laboratory analysis.
